Corporation Service Co. is now an approved eRecording vendor for the Broome County, N.Y. Clerk’s office. CSC is the only nationwide provider of commercial and residential real estate document recording solutions in both electronic and paper formats according to the company’s announcement.
Electronic document recording allows recording offices to reduce costs, eliminate payment errors, receive prompt payment and increase staff productivity. Document submitters also benefit from shorter wait times, fewer document rejections, faster rejection handling and more secure transmission of documents.
“Moving to CSC’s electronic document recording technology will help us eliminate paper; insure accurate collection of fees; and automate a time-consuming process,” Broome County Clerk Richard Blythe said. “We encourage all of our document submitters to take advantage of this exciting new service.”
“The increased efficiency and accuracy has the potential to significantly reduce both origination and recording costs, saving money for the recording office and those they serve on a day-to-day basis,” CSC Vice President Mark Rosser said.
Broome County’s partnership with CSC will allow document submitters to electronically record documents quickly, easily, and securely. Any submitter with a computer, Internet connection and scanner/printer now can eRecord with Broome County.
