Stewart appointed Tony Hale as western states agency district sales director, a new role in the company’s Agency Services Group. In this role, Hale will be responsible for building an effective sales strategy to attract new independent agencies, and to serve Stewart’s existing agencies.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the title industry, previously working for another national underwriter as county and regional manager. Additionally, he has worked for two large independent title agencies in marketing and key operational roles.
“Tony’s extensive knowledge of the title industry, and experience in marketing and operational roles will make him a valued asset to our team and a welcomed addition,” Executive Vice President Western States and National Agency District Manager George Houghton said. “He’s an accomplished executive with a proven track record of growing sales, and we’re excited for him to take on this new role at Stewart.”
Hale received his bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Linfield College in Oregon, where he also played basketball as a starting player during all four years.
