Stewart Title appointed Carlos Iraola as division president of its South Florida location. In the newly developed role, Iraola will drive the expansion plans in Miami Beach and the surrounding area.
Iraola’s key responsibilities will include maintaining a comprehensive business strategy through the deployment and enhancement of the Stewart sales system, and supporting a sales-focused organization through strategic sales plans.
“Carlos has diverse, hands-on real estate and business experience, which we welcome to our South Florida location,” Stewart Title Group Vice President Richard Yankowski said. “That industry know-how coupled with his strong ties to the local market will be instrumental in driving Stewart’s expansion plans in the area.”
Most recently Iraola served as vice president, business development for Stewart Title’s Miami office. Other rules have included vice president of sales for a full-service Florida real estate corporation, and business development for a software company.
In other Stewart news, Wayne Bennett joined the Kansas City, Mo., office as a commercial operations manager. He has more than 30 years of experience in the title insurance industry and holds both a Kansas and Missouri insurance agent’s license.
Group Senior Vice President of Stewart Title Marty Albertson said Bennett’s extensive knowledge and experience working in leadership roles within the real estate industry makes him a welcome addition to the Kansas City team.
In Kansas, Sara Steele has joined the Overland Park team as a commercial account manager and escrow officer. Her responsibilities include commercial sales and commercial escrow fiduciary tasks, including closing, disbursing and commercial investments. Albertson said her strong ties to the community and her diverse real estate knowledge make her a valuable asset to the organization.
