Doma Title Insurance, Inc. has appointed Clay Arthur as agency manager for its north Texas region.
In this role, Arthur will connect the company’s north Texas independent agency base with the tools, information and underwriting resources they need to successfully grow their market share.
A second-generation title professional, Arthur worked for Union Pacific Railroad for more than 16 years in the early part of his career. In 2017, he partnered with his family to help launch and manage Arthur Heating and Air, and later gravitated to the title insurance industry.
Most recently, he worked in business development for a Texas-based independent title agency.
“Clay’s entire career has been focused on providing a great customer experience, no matter what position he has held within his companies,” Ashleigh Spruell, Texas regional agency manager for Doma, said in a release. “His most recent experience working in sales for an independent title agent has given him firsthand knowledge of what real estate agent and lender clients are looking for in their title agent partners, and he is a master at helping devise business strategies to help his clients more effectively meet those needs.”
Arthur said he chose to join Doma because of its forward-thinking approach in leveraging technology to streamline title processes and simplify real estate transactions.
“In my role as agency manager, I will combine the incredible technology and resources unique to Doma with my own passion for business planning and coaching to help my agents find new, innovative ways to provide cutting-edge services to their real estate agents and loan officers,” he said. “Service is king in the title world, but being able to capitalize on Doma’s technology offerings to rethink how those service channels can be improved upon is a true game-changer for independent agents.”
