CATIC and CATIC Financial announced the following attorneys were reappointed to their leadership roles within the CATIC and CATIC Financial boards: Keith Shaw, Kenneth Gruder, Charles (Peter) Ebersol and Patricia Farrell.

Shaw was reappointed chairman of the CATIC Board and has been a board member since 2001. He has served as chairman of the governance committee and the claims committee. Shaw received his undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College and his J.D. from Western New England College School of Law. His practice, in Rocky Hill, Conn., focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, foreclosures, business transactions, condominium collections, and estate planning.
Gruder was reappointed vice chair of the CATIC Board and is a founding member of Goldman Gruder & Woods, LLC as well as chairman of its real estate law practice group. In his practice, Gruder handles all aspects of residential and commercial real estate law, including purchases, sales, foreclosures, eviction, short sales, and loan workouts. He received his undergraduate degree from George Washington University and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
Ebersol was reappointed chairman of the CATIC Financial board. A native of Torrington, Conn., he received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University. Ebersol’s practice areas include real estate, planning and zoning, estate planning, wills, and probate. He previously served as chairman of the CATIC board and continues to serve as a member of that board.
Farrell was reappointed vice chair of the CATIC Financial board and is a graduate of Smith College. She received her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law and is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association, having served as a member of the House of Delegates and the Board of Governors. Farrell’s practice, Farrell, Geenty, Sheeley, Boccalatte & Guarino, is located in Middletown, Conn. She also previously served as chair of the CATIC board.
