Stewart Title announced three leadership changes in the central Midwest region beginning with the hiring of Christine Sparks as a new director of operations in region, along with two promotions: Borgia Houser as the new division president for Stewart Title – Columbus division, and Suzanne Patton as the new division president for NorthStar, a division of Stewart Title Co.
“I am excited about the additions of Christine, Sue and Borgia to our leadership teams in the central Midwest region,” Sean Stoner, group senior vice president, said in a release. “The three of them bring decades of industry-leading experience and talent to already strong teams. I look for them to grow, mentor and solidify the Stewart brand as we set up our operations for years of future success.”
Sparks will oversee the operations of Stewart in Chicago and Greater Illinois Title, a division of Stewart Title. She comes to Stewart from the Illinois Land Title Association, where she served as the executive director.
Houser has served in different capacities over her 30 years in the title insurance industry, coming to Stewart in 1998 as controller using her CPA skills to manage the financials for Stewart Title Agency of Columbus and then moving to a leadership role in operations. She most recently held the role of operations manager for Stewart Title – Columbus division.
Patton has served in several capacities over her 28 years in the title insurance industry on both the title and escrow side of the business. She most recently held the role of operations manager for NorthStar and came to Stewart in the January 2021 acquisition.
