Independence Title, a privately-held title company in the state of Texas, is licensing Zonability to gain faster access to useful, data-driven insights about thousands of parcels of land in seven central Texas cities.
Zonability is a web application that converts multiple sources of data into innovative, graphically rich reports and interactive maps for PCS and mobile devices. By licensing the Zonability application, Independence Title staffers will be able to quickly uncover unique insights into real estate opportunities for their clients derived from zoning rules, public record data, FEMA status and calculations to show estimates of maximum building size and height for a specific address or parcel of land. Clients will benefit by having greater transparency into important rules that control property potential.
With Zonability, Independence Title will be able to instantly access in-depth information about thousands of parcels of land in Austin, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Round Rock, Bee Cave and Lakeway. The company plans to add more Texas cities soon.
“Zonability is an amazing new technology product,” said Erik Wanson, director of customer service for Independence Title. “We are always looking for cutting edge tools that solve problems for our customers. Frequently, we receive questions regarding potential uses for a property and potential locations for businesses. Now, Zonability instantly compiles and presents answers to these questions that previously would have required hours of manual research.”
“Title companies are known for research — especially uncovering potential restrictions that can impact a property. Independence Title recognized immediately that Zonability is game changing technology to address their customer’s needs. Zonability is the first online tool that presents this information in an efficient, user-friendly way across multiple cities. Zonability uncovers hidden opportunities, keeps deals moving and gets conversations started,” said Leigh Budlong, founder of Zonability.
