MiT National Land Services, a full-service title insurance agency focused on both commercial and residential properties, has hired former Skyline Title senior sales executive Nicholas Malfitano as vice president of business development. He will guide the development of new strategic partnerships and deepen existing relationships with top brokerage and law firms.
Malfitano brings strong relationships with top producers at many of the top real estate brokerage firms and is widely credited for having opened up and developed the booming Brooklyn market for Skyline during his years there.
Prior to that, he spent five years with JPMorgan Chase in private and commercial bank group and two years with Citibank in the small business and commercial banking division.
“In order to grow the business it’s critical to develop strategic partnerships with brokerage firms looking for both a respected title agency and introductions to the top real estate attorneys in the city,” MiT President and Chief Counsel Marc Israel said. “With Nick bringing his existing relationships with the top brokers and attorneys into the fold, MiT will be able to expand its footprint in both New York City and nationally and continue the growth we’ve experienced over the last year.”
Led by Israel, MiT recently celebrated its one-year anniversary and quickly has become one of the fastest-growing title insurance agencies on the East Coast, according to the announcement
