Numerous solutions aimed at helping improve your business’ efficiency and operations, as well as attracting new clients, were discussed during October Research’s recent Evolving Technology webinar.
The panel talk includes Bill Svoboda, co-founder of title tech provider CloseSimple; Max Lamb, senior director of business development at Qualia; and Tish Bush, principal at TDB Advisors.
"With the emergence of SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions, things have changed," said Svoboda during the discussion. "Think about internet email providers like MailChimp, Dropbox, Docusign, or numerous other SaaS products. These businesses typically don't have booths at title conferences, but they're integral to how business operates in 2023. When you encounter online software prompting you with 'Click here to get started,' you'll usually find options to 'pay annually' or 'pay monthly.'”
“This pricing model contrasts with the traditional approach in the title industry. Depending on your choice, you might pay $15 per month per user with the annual option or $21 per month per user with the monthly choice. Understanding how software is priced, especially with non-title-based software and startups, is crucial. It’s essential to have these conversations, especially if there are any uncertainties or ambiguities."
