RamQuest, Inc, recented provided more than 1,400 school supplies and employees volunteered time to Plano ISD’s CORE Store, the company announced.
RamQuest employees collected a variety of school supplies during August, including high-demand supplies like dry erase markers, storage bags and Clorox wipes. RamQuest matched every high-demand item donated and a grand total of 1,402 school supplies were donated through the RamQuest Gives Back initiative.
“Donations of supplies to the Plano ISD Education Foundation’s CORE Store go directly into the hands of our teachers and into the classrooms throughout the district,” said Jamee Jolly, senior executive director of Plano ISD Education Foundation. “More than 80 percent of PISD teachers were spending their own paychecks on supplies before we developed the CORE Store. We appreciate RamQuest’s assistance in making sure that every student in Plano ISD has the supplies they need in order for them to reach their full potential in the classroom.”
In addition to the donated items, RamQuest team members volunteered at the CORE Store, stocking store shelves, assisting with check-in and helping teachers load supplies in their cars.
