SoftPro has partnered with Real Estate Data Shield (REDS) to provide its customers preferred access to the latter’s cybersecurity training, the companies announced.
REDS said it was the first recipient of ALTA’s Elite Provider designation, and its training course has won two prestigious e-learning awards.
“We are pleased to be able to offer our customers invaluable access to educating staff on avoiding cybersecurity risks,” SoftPro President Joyce Weiland said in a release. “The fact that the REDS training program is specifically geared to the title industry makes it a natural fit for our customers.”
The partnership between the companies allows SoftPro customers to subscribe to the REDS training at a preferred rate. REDS offers compliance and information security web training that takes only 45 minutes to complete.
A course subscription allows a company access for staff and independent contractors on the laws and regulations, emerging fraudster BEC and social engineering tactics.
“The cyber fraudsters have clearly found our industry. Your staff is your front-line defense and your greatest risk vector,” REDS founder and CEO Christopher Gulotta said. “Arming them with the tools to safeguard your company is more imperative now than ever before. Real Estate Data Shield brings this web-based employee e-courseware to SoftPro users in an effort to help protect the highly vulnerable escrow funds and non public information that our industry handles every day for clients.”
