President Donald Trump has signed an executive order establishing a joint task force to combat consumer fraud that will include the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
The task force will target fraud against the elderly, service members and veterans, as well as corporate fraud victimizing the government and the general public.
