WFG National Title Co. named Thomas Klein to continue the company’s growth and momentum by overseeing its relationships with the nation’s largest independent title agencies. He now will serve as senior vice president overseeing the company’s national agency division.
Klein replaces Roger Blauvelt in the role, who will be retiring after 40 years in the title settlement services industry.
Klein assumes his new role after serving as senior vice president, agency Southeast Region. He has 35 years of experience in the title and settlement services industry. Before coming to WFG National Title in 2010, he was vice president with Alliance Solutions, LLC, a national consulting firm specializing in business process and compliance consultation for title agencies and underwriters.
Before that, he spent 22 years as an officer with one of the industry’s largest title insurance companies. There he held a number of roles, including managing the southeastern Virginia agency territory, concurrently managing a northern Virginia subsidiary; and managing agency operations in northern Virginia. He initiated the insurer’s national agency operations, and managed a group consulting with agents and company officials on affiliated business arrangement matters.
Prior to that, Klein was president and founder of Virginia Escrow & Title Co. He is past president of the Virginia Land Title Association and has also practiced real estate law with a private firm. He received his bachelors of arts degree from the University of Virginia and his JD from the University of Richmond’s TC Williams School of Law.
“Tom has played a significant role in the growth of WFG’s agency division,” Willison Financial Group President and CEO Patrick Stone said. “He has earned the trust and respect of independent agents and colleagues throughout the industry with his calm leadership and unyielding support.”
