Stewart Title Commercial Services announced that Joseph Peterson has joined the Dallas-Fort Worth office as business development officer. Peterson will be responsible for growing Stewart’s commercial business by developing and maintaining commercial business relationships, the company said in a press release.
Stewart expands pilot program rollout
Peterson will report to Vice President and Regional Sales Director Jeff Whetzel, and will support the Dallas-Fort Worth team, which is led by Senior Vice President and Commercial Services Manager Melissa Eastman.
“Joe has worked for some of the strongest and most notable financial institutions and excels in working with clients in multiple commercial asset classes,” Whetzel said in the release. “He has a proven track record of success in both the Chicago and Los Angeles markets, and his experience is a significant contribution to the Stewart Title Commercial Services team in Dallas and Fort Worth.”
Peterson brings knowledge of financial and credit markets to the title industry with more than 13 years of experience in business development and relationship-based consulting in financial services and real estate.
Most recently, he worked in business development for Stewart in Los Angeles, where he successfully captured new business while managing existing client relationships. He began his career in commercial banking, supporting businesses with lending instruments to achieve their growth goals.
