interested lenders and regulators.
Richard Purcell developed Microsoft’s first privacy program and became
chief privacy officer for the company in January 2000. In the
intervening years he’s established his own
data security
consultancy and worked with a variety of global clients. He’s just
recently shifted his focus to the title industry, working with Chris
Gulotta, founder and managing partner of
The Gulotta Law Group and Paradigm Title Agency,
and Paul Schwartz, professor of law and faculty director for the
Berkeley Center for Law & Technology, at Real Estate Data Shield,
and he agreed that there is a general lack of data security awareness
right now.
