Release tracking company reQuire continues its hiring binge by announcing a new director of operations and also the promotion of a regional manager to national sales trainer.

Tim Blackstone has joined reQuire Release Tracking as director of operations and will be responsible for all aspects of reQuire’s release tracking and title curative department activities. This includes managing department team members and workload; implementing systems and processes to ensure obtainment of department goals; overseeing customer and partner relationship management initiatives; and monitoring expenses and performance of the department using both quality and quantity performance indicators.

“I am very excited to be working with such an enthusiastic and intelligent group of people and to be involved in such an exciting enterprise,” Blackstone said. “It is always rewarding to work with true professionals who believe so completely in what they do; the enthusiasm that comes from that is truly amazing.”

A veteran of the United States Navy, Blackstone’s background also includes various roles in the information technology space. In addition to work supporting the U.S. Coast Guard financial application, he has also held positions as an instructor for leading technology companies such as Microsoft and Cisco. Following Sept. 11, 2001, Tim joined the Department of Homeland Security for nine years before becoming a business consultant.

In addition, regional manager Jared Uthe has been named to the new national sales trainer position. He will be responsible for training reQuire sales personnel on selling skills, industry specific knowledge and other competencies related to reQuire product and service sales in support of the company’s expansion plan. He will also help guide the design, development and implementation of training programs to support reQuire’s sales force needs; working cooperatively with the director of sales and the marketing manager to enhance product sales growth.

“This is an exciting time to be a part of reQuire’s expansion,” Uthe said. “Together we have grown from one transaction to our upcoming millionth. Being a part of the vision for the company and having the opportunity to travel throughout the United States to coach the next generation of sales representatives is a thrill.”

Uthe joined the reQuire team in 2005 and has since held positions as both account manager and regional manager. As an account manager, he was awarded region of the year in 2009 with fellow account managers covering the Virginia, Maryland and District of Columbia region. His background prior to joining the company includes business-to-business sales in the medical field.

Founded in 2002, reQuire’s primary customers are companies performing real estate settlements and disbursing payoff funds to satisfy lien requirements. reQuire’s core value proposition is to help settlement companies and attorneys improve operations and increase profitability by providing a no-cost solution for effectively tracking and reporting the release of liens.
