Pioneer Technology Group (PTG), a provider of court, official records and real estate systems and a secure document management resource for the real estate and title insurance industry, announced the addition of
Byron Tiller as the company’s chief technology officer.
Tiller joins PTG as the latest step in his long and successful career that has included several key positions within the technology industry. He is a graduate of Florida Institute of Technology and has a master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science.
Tiller will head up PTG’s team of eight developers, along with PTG’s programmers, support team and database administrators. He will also oversee the company’s recently established in-house software test center.

Byron has had a lot of success in the past leading small and large teams so we know he can help us grow our team,” said Steve Rumsey, president of PTG. “Byron has already contributed numerous improvements to our processes and quickened our problem resolution. I believed Byron was the right person for the job when I first met him, and that belief has only strengthened as I get to know him better. We are excited to have finally found the right individual to fill this critical role.”
