Production manager added in Nebraska
Nebraska Title Co. announced Jason Griess as title department production manager. Griess earned a master of business administration degree from Walden University, a juris doctor degree from Washburn University and bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska. He is a licensed Nebraska Title agent.
Griess has a diverse background of experience in real estate, including serving as senior claims officer for a Fortune 500 national title insurance company and commercial and residential title insurance examiner.
“I am very pleased that Jason has joined our title department in Lincoln,” said Vickie Williamson, president, title services. “His expertise in searching and examining real estate title is a great addition to our existing title staff. He has a high degree of energy and professionalism that will serve us well as we continue to grow our operations.”

Director of title operations added to American Title Associates Agency
American Title Associates Agency Inc., a subsidiary of Black McCuskey Law Firm, has hired Yolanda Barnes as director of title operations.
She is responsible for the daily operations, financial management, business development and productivity of the agency.
Barnes was most recently employed as operations manager at Guardian Title & Guaranty Agency Inc. and has more than 20 years of title experience. She is a licensed title insurance agent in Ohio and a certified instructor for the Ohio Division of Real Estate.
She has a master’s degree in theological studies and a bachelor’s degree in business management, both from Malone University in Canton, Ohio. She is currently an associate pastor and the director of ministries at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio.
Black McCuskey has offices in Canton and Dover, Ohio.
Former member of Texas legislature joins First Am of Coastal Bend
First American Title Co. of the Coastal Bend announced that former Speaker Pro Tempore of the Texas House of Representatives Hugo Berlanga has been named vice president of business development.
Berlanga will work primarily in the area of commercial real estate and large account business development.
