ePN added 26 county offices across the U.S. to its eRecording network. These counties are located in Georgia, Colorado, Michigan, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, North Dakota, New York, Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri, Florida and South Carolina.
The ePN team has worked closely with these jurisdictions in connection with their land records systems according to the announcement.
“With decreases in clerk and registrars’ budgets, county recorders are beginning to see the true value and cost benefits eRecording offers,” ePN President Jerry Lewallen said in a news release. “Increased productivity, improved workflow and savings in office supplies and equipment are just some of the contributing factors that have counties implementing electronic recording.”
Whether a jurisdiction is small or largely populated, more counties are making the necessary accommodations to accept official record documents electronically.
