Entrust Solutions said it hopes to bolster its position in the South by adding Tim Estes as executive vice president and opening a new office in Birmingham, Ala.
Estes, a graduate of the University of Alabama, was formerly of the law firm Estes, Sanders & Williams and is the owner of Estes Title & Closings and Orange Title. Both Birmingham-based companies, along with their staffs, will merge into Entrust.
“I am so thrilled to be a part of Entrust,” Estes said. “The timing of this move, coupled with the upcoming changes, came at the perfect time.”
“I have known Tim for quite some time now and I am excited to have him and his staff on board,” said Jonathan Yasko, founder and managing member of Entrust. “The knowledge Tim and his staff bring to Entrust cannot be measured and will prove valuable to all of our clients.”
Estes graduated with a master’s degree from American University and his juris doctor from the Cumberland School of Law.
Entrust’s first merger of 2014 expanded the company in Delray Beach, Fla., by adding Wendi Weisman and her real estate staff at the Law Office of Harold Weisman.
She said, “I am very excited to be a part of the cutting-edge plans we are putting in place to assist other title agents throughout this state to be able to continue to write title insurance business, even though the underwriters are removing small agents daily from their approved lists due to minimums being imparted upon them (from their underwriters.)”
