Stewart named Genady Vishnevetsky chief information security officer (CISO).
As a strategic planner and visionary leader, Vishnevetsky has a proven track record helping organizations develop well-rounded, methodical security programs aligning with the business objectives and are sensitive to risk tolerance according to the company’s statement.
“Genady brings more than two decades of leadership and technical expertise in security and technology operations to his new role,” Stewart Chief Information Officer Brad Rable said. “I know he will enhance our current security and compliance team and am excited that he will be joining Stewart.”
In his last role as the vice president of security and information security officer at Paymetric, Vishnevetsky built cyber security, governance and compliance programs for the country’s fifth largest payment processor of card-not-present electronic payments. The company received a high rating by an independent third-party security assessor.
Vishnevetsky also build a security operation center to deliver an effective, around-the-clock threat monitoring, detection and response system.
